2. Hosting and server log data
When you access the website, the web server processes technically necessary connection data, in particular IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser and operating-system information. Processing is carried out to provide the service securely and reliably on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is stored only for as long as necessary for operation, security, error analysis and statutory obligations.
3. Cookies and consent management
We use Borlabs Cookie to manage consent. Technically necessary information may be stored or accessed where this is required for a service explicitly requested by you. Non-essential cookies or comparable access to your device are used only after your consent. The legal bases are Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25 TDDDG; Section 25(2) TDDDG applies to technically strictly necessary processes. You can change or withdraw consent at any time for the future via the cookie settings.
4. Registration and user account
For certain functions you can create a user account. We process in particular your username/nickname, email address, encrypted access credentials and any voluntary profile details. The data is processed to set up and manage the account and provide the requested functions. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Mandatory fields are marked accordingly during registration.
5. Marketplace, listings and booking functions
If you create listings, send enquiries or use booking or reservation functions, we process the data you enter, for example listing text, category, price, location, contact details, availability, booking data and messages. Processing serves to provide and perform the marketplace and communication functions requested by you and is generally based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Information entered publicly is visible to other visitors where this is intended for the respective listing.
6. Internal messages and contact
For messages between users or when you contact us, sender, recipient, time and message content are processed. Processing is carried out to provide the communication function or handle your enquiry on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Abuse or moderation data may be processed where necessary for service security and enforcement of our rules.
7. YouTube videos
Zemra.com initially displays locally or privacy-conscious preview images and metadata. A connection to YouTube is established only when you activate a video and, where required, have given consent via Borlabs Cookie. When a YouTube video is loaded, data including your IP address and device and usage information may be transmitted to and processed by Google/YouTube. Where consent is required, processing is based on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG. You may withdraw consent at any time for the future.
8. External links and news sources
When external news sources or other websites are linked, merely displaying the link generally does not transmit data to the destination site. Only when you open the link do the privacy rules of the respective external provider apply.
9. Security and abuse prevention
To protect the website and detect attacks, spam, unauthorised access or other misuse, technical log and security data may be processed. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
10. Storage period
Personal data is deleted or anonymised once the respective processing purpose no longer applies and there are no statutory retention obligations or legitimate reasons for further storage. Account data is generally stored until the user account is deleted. Data relating to contracts, bookings or billing-relevant processes may be retained for longer in accordance with statutory retention periods.
11. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have, in particular, the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
12. SSL/TLS encryption
This website uses HTTPS encryption. This protects data transmitted between your browser and our server in accordance with the current state of technology.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We update this Privacy Policy when functions, services used or legal requirements change. The version published on this website at the relevant time applies.
